Central Illinois Nutrition Security Summit
After September is over, the need continues! Consider joining the conversation at the first ever Central Illinois Nutrition Security Summit being held by HEAL- FSP on October 9 & 10 at the Spalding Center in Peoria. The goal of the Central Illinois Nutrition Security Summit is to bring together all those interested in ensuring every member of our community has an equitable ability to find, utilize, and consistently access enough safe, nutritious foods for their optimal health and well-being. Find more information on the event through the Partnership for a Healthy Community Facebook page.
Join us Sunday as we kick off the month at the Riverfront Park in East Peoria. We will park in the parking lot near the entrance to Bass Pro and meet across the street for a picture to begin the month spreading awareness! Wear an orange shirt or a old Hunger Walk shirt to the event! Anyone and everyone is welcome to come to help us in spreading awareness and starting the month off strong.
