University of Illinois Extension offices temporarily closed starting March 16 as per COVID-19 recommendations

(MILAN, Ill.) University of Illinois Extension’s unit offices serving Henry, Mercer, Rock Island and Stark Counties are temporarily closing, effective Monday, March 16, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in order to adhere to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines on social distancing. This includes the Henry/Stark office in Galva, Ill, the Mercer office in Viola, Ill and the Rock Island office in Milan, Ill. Staff will be working remotely and can be contacted via email. Staff listing can be found on the webpage under the “About us” page. The majority of events have been cancelled or postponed but there are several online webinars that will still be going on as scheduled. See the “Events” tab on the webpage for a list of events and postponements.

As soon as we know the dates for reopening and as events are rescheduled we will be sharing the news on our website, Facebook, twitter, news releases and constant contact emails.
