Nature is a place for children to explore, learn and grow and Wee Naturalists allows for just that!

Nature-loving children, families and educators are invited to explore a different nature theme November 2020 until May 2021 through video stories and lessons.

The pre-recorded hour-long sessions are appropriate for families with children ages 4 to 7 and pre-K to 2nd-grade educators. Program materials can be accessed starting on the first Saturday and viewed at any time.

Learning through nature-related stories, a lesson and even virtual hikes will give children a view of nature they don’t always see or hear. Lessons are taught by Energy and Environmental Stewardship Educator Peggy Doty who introduces science vocabulary and helps children understand ecosystem relationships.

Register in advance online for one or all of the sessions. The cost to participate is $5 for a household or classroom per month.
