Calling all youth ages 8 to 18, join us for a hands-on flower arranging workshop hosted by Illinois Extension horticulture staff. Whether you’re a budding florist or simply interested in learning basic floral design, this workshop is perfect for you!
Workshop Highlights:
- Learn Basic Floral Design Elements: Emily Swihart and Tracy Jo Mulliken, our expert presenters, will guide you through the essentials of flower arranging.
- Demonstrations: See three different floral designs: bud vase, plant cutting, and centerpiece.
- Hands-On Experience: You'll have the opportunity to create your own arrangement to take home.
- Mercer County Fair Preparation: These skills can be applied to your 4-H flower arranging project for the upcoming Mercer County fair.
- Cost: $10 (includes all supplies)
