Kent Redfield is a professor emeritus of political science at the University of Illinois Springfield. He is affiliated with the University of Illinois’ Institute of Government and Public Affairs and the Center for State Policy and Leadership at UIS. Redfield has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Utah and a master’s and doctorate in political science from the University of Washington in Seattle.
