Abbie began serving the communities in the Fulton-Mason-Peoria-Tazewell Unit as the Tazewell County 4-H Program Coordinator in May 2024. She grew up in Central Illinois and spent eight years in 4-H. Some of her favorite projects included crocheting and showing pigs. 

After high school, Abbie attended Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, and graduated in May 2022 with her Bachelor of Arts in English. Highlights of her time at Truman include being a member of the Equestrian Team, working all four years as a student at the University Farm, and spending two summers growing vegetables for Truman’s Farm to Table Program. After graduation, Abbie spent almost two years working in the Office of Admission at Truman where she worked with prospective students from across the state of Illinois.

Now, Abbie is excited to be back home in Central Illinois and to have the opportunity to serve her local communities. Outside the office, she can usually be found spending time with family and friends, or with her horse, Señor.
