Rosemarie Carter serves as McLean County Office Support Assistant. She has served McLean county for 20 years (2003-2023). She enjoys being able to greet volunteers and customers each day. The highlight of her day is when she can help a volunteer, customer, or staff member to solve a problem or to get the answers that they need.

Rosemarie owned her own daycare for 17 years before finding the opportunity to join the Extension office. Rosemarie states, “It was exciting to know that I could work in the “4-H office” and was able to help out at the fair with the kids and volunteers”.

Rosemarie is a native of Hudson, IL where she is a second generation 4-H member and then a leader in Towanda, IL as she raised her two children. Summers always revolved around fair projects and getting ready for the McLean County fair in her household!

Rosemarie now resides in rural Bloomington with her husband Tim. They stay busy with their combined family of 3 children and 7 grandchildren.
