Demystifying the Generational Gap

CARLOCK, Ill. – Today’s families, workplaces, and communities often include multiple generations working and living side by side. Each generation brings unique strengths, values, and perspectives shaped by their life experiences. While these differences can enrich our interactions, they can also lead to misunderstandings—especially when communication styles or expectations clash.

Join Family Life Educator Sara Attig for a fun and insightful program, “Groovy, Rad, Dope, or Lit? Staying "Cool" Across the Generations”, where we’ll explore how to build bridges across generations through open communication, collaboration, and mutual mentoring. You’ll gain practical tools to understand generational dynamics better and foster more inclusive, respectful relationships—whether at work, at home, or in your community.

This program will be held at 1:30 p.m. on October 15th, 2025, at the Carlock Public Library (202 E Washington St, Carlock, IL 61725). Register by calling the library at (309) 376-5651. You won’t want to miss this program!
