Elevate Illinois positivity highlights Extension webinar

URBANA, Ill. – Elevate Illinois looks for positivity in all aspects of Illinois living, bringing people from across the state together to celebrate what is good and successful in hopes of collaborating on topics of mutual interest. 

University of Illinois Extension will host leadership from Elevate Illinois in a free online webinar noon Aug. 31. Register online at go.illinois.edu/elevate. Janet Mathis, Elevate Illinois president and CEO, is a fifth generation Illinoisan. She grew up on her family’s farm near Fairbury where her great-great grandparents settled in the 1860s. She has worked in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors in nonprofit management, public policy, economic development, and communications.

Craig Coil, executive vice president and COO of Elevate Illinois, previously managed business development a the Illinois Department of Commerce and served as president and CEO of the Macon County Economic Development Corporation.
