Farmer’s wishing to apply restricted-use pesticides to property that they own or control in the production of an agricultural commodity must be certified as private applicators in the state of Illinois.
University of Illinois Extension will be offering test-only sessions. They are scheduled for:
- Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020 (two sessions) at the Woodhull Community Center, 150 N. Division Street, Woodhull, IL from 10 a.m.-Noon and 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
- Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, U of I Extension, Rock Island County, 321 W 2nd Ave. Milan, IL from 10 a.m.-Noon.
Pre-registration for private applicator testing is required. There is no fee to attend the test-only sessions and a registration page is available at https://extension.illinois.edu/hmrs/events or you may call Illinois Extension, Rock Island County at 309-756-9978 to pre-register.
