Bridget Lee-Calfas is an Illinois native who has lived throughout the state and across the country, while working in dynamic and diverse roles in higher education and the non-profit industry, including at Yale University, Harper College, The Temple Theatre Company, and Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. For more than two decades, Bridget’s experience in marketing, development, public engagement, event planning, and brand management has offered her opportunities to conceive and evaluate strategic marketing campaigns across mediums; represent and write for diverse constituents; construct and elevate solid brand images; build web content from the ground–up; innovate on social media and digital platforms; and execute projects with internal, regional, and national scopes.
Bridget believes in the transformational experiences and global impact that are at the heart of the University of Illinois mission and appreciates how they are epitomized in the innovative programming, creative problem-solving, focused initiatives, and responsive leadership of Illinois Extension. She leads the core state team of communications and design professionals and connects with colleagues throughout the state to collaboratively deliver services that increase program awareness and brand visibility and deepen the impact of Illinois Extension’s expertise.
