Every year a revised listing of the nutritional composition of feedstuffs is made available.  The new table is now available on-line at the Beef website.

The revised edition has many new features.  If you click on any particular feedstuff, a new window opens and gives you 20 nutrients.  See the example below.  Keep in mind that these are just averages and you must consider the growing/harvesting conditions.  It is always best to have your hay analyzed to ensure that you are not cheating the livestock out of key nutrients or not overfeeding protein, energy, etc.  The markets are moderate at this time and one must take care to meet the nutritional requirements of their cattle based on stage of development and/or gestation yet, be aware of the feed costs.
