University of Illinois Extension Educators Andrew Holsinger, Chris Enroth, Ken Johnson and Katie Parker will teach these webinars. These webinars are offered free, and preregistration is required.

Basics of Tree Fruit Diseases | August 12 | 3 to 4 PM CDT
Andrew Holsinger, University of Illinois Extension horticulture educator, focuses on the diseases encountered when growing fruit trees and how to counteract them! You will learn about diseases (fruit rots, foliar blights, and more), and preventing/controlling diseases with standard cultural practices and spray programs. Presented by Andrew Holsinger.

Composting food scraps and yard waste is a positive alternative to sending the waste to the landfill or down your garbage disposal, and the results of composting provides a nutrient rich material that can be added to our gardens.
