The Speaking for Illinois 4-H training is a chance for 4-H members to help tell our story.

This virtual session introduces public speaking skills that will prepare teens to be the voice of 4-H at state legislative events and to meet with county and state elected officials, potential donors, civic groups, and new volunteers. Learn how to adapt your 4-H story to specific audiences and improve your business etiquette skills.

This training is a joint youth/adult partnership including members of the Illinois State 4-H Youth Leadership Team and Extension adults and volunteers with expertise in government, speaking, and 4-H. Members need to be at least 14 to participate. Training is offered three times a year.
