Easements and Right of Ways | Part 2 of the Broadband Build Out Series
There is sometimes confusion about permit requirements and easement needs for broadband projects. The confusion can unfortunately lead to conflict between contractors, road authorities, and landowners. This webinar is one in a series that will cover build out and feasibility considerations during broadband development planning and implementation. This specific program will feature Jerry Crabtree from Township Officials of Illinois and Bill Bodine with the Illinois Farm Bureau and their collaborated guidance on easements and right-of-way issues. TOI, IFB and the Illinois Association of County Engineers have worked together to develop a permit template that can provide clarity for these projects. The webinar will provide details about issues surrounding broadband and utility projects and an explanation of the new permit template that can be utilized.
