As a 4-H Youth Development Program Coordinator serving the Unity Community Center in McLean County, Lauren Harper uses her experience in program writing and communication to bring engaging and unique experiences to the youth and families of Unity Community Center. Lauren received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus in youth development and education in 2025 from Illinois State University. She brings previous work experience from a variety of youth program settings, such as the Champaign Park District and the Bloomington-Normal YMCA. She joined the Extension team in July 2025 and is excited to bring her energy and compassion to the community she serves!
