Congrats to our own Molly Hofer, University of Illinois Extension Family Life Educator and other members of the Family Life team: Chelsey Byers, Cheri Burcham, and Cara Allen for winning a national award at the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences conference in Lexington, Kentucky last week. The team was the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences national award winners (second place) for their community partnership work with Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund where, for eight years they provided a statewide summer series of healthy aging programs to their retirees, reaching thousands of retirees statewide.
