Pita chips are the perfect vehicle for all sorts of dips. They're super easy to make at home, so why not?
Start with 6" whole grain pitas. Using kitchen shears, cut them into pieces and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet prepped with nonstick spray.
Brush the tops lightly with olive oil, then sprinkle with spices of your choice. I like garlic powder and a pinch of salt!
Bake for 8-10 minutes in the oven at 400 degrees F, turning the chips over halfway through cooking time. Watch them carefully so they don't burn!
Cool and serve with your favorite dip.
