Horse owners and enthusiasts are invited to the Bi-State Horse Conference which will be offered on Saturday, February 22, 2014. The program will be held from 8:30 until 3pm at the Kenosha County Center in Bristol, WI.

Session topics include "Eye Care for the Horse", "Internal and External Pest Control" and "Colic: Causes and What to do about it" will all be presented by Dr Tracy Busalacchi from Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic. Additionally, a session on "Forage and Plant ID" will include a hands-on workshop where participants can evaluate how plants look both fresh and dried in hay. This session will also discuss forage quality and what to look for in good quality horse hay. Ellen Philips from University of Illinois Extension and Peg Reedy from Walworth County UW Cooperative Extension will present the Forage and Plant ID topic.

The program begins at 8:30am and runs until 3pm. Lunch will be included with the program fees, which are $25/person or $45/2 people and $15/youth on or before February 14, 2014. Registration fees increase after the early bird deadline.
