Illinois lawmakers passed the Omnibus Election bill this spring which was signed into law by Governor Pritzker June 17. Public Act 102-0015 makes major changes to the state's election code to strengthen cybersecurity measures, cope with delays to 2020 U.S. Census data, and further expand access to the ballot box for Illinoisans across the state.

University of Illinois Extension will provide an in-depth review of the Election Code changes contained in the new law and its impact on county government election cycles and processes during a free online webinar at 10 a.m. August 4.

The webinar is a joint effort of the Illinois Association of County Board Members and the Illinois Association of County Clerks and Recorders
