MEET THE SPEAKERS

Janet Mathis, Elevate Illinois president and CEO, is a fifth generation Illinoisan. She grew up on her family’s farm near Fairbury where her great-great grandparents settled in the 1860s. She has worked in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors in nonprofit management, public policy, economic development, and communications.

Her work focuses on state and community betterment. She currently serves on the board of the Riverbend Food Bank and the Illinois Agri-Food Alliance.

Craig Coil, executive vice president and COO of Elevate Illinois, previously managed business development a the Illinois Department of Commerce and served as president and CEO of the Macon County Economic Development Corporation.
