Presenters from across the globe will share the latest in research, policies, and outreach at the 2022 Emerging Contaminants in the Environment Conference taking place online and in person April 27-28.

Emerging contaminants are unregulated substances found in low levels in the environment. Chemicals from these products have been found in the environment, and the impacts on humans and wildlife are unknown. Common sources are pesticides, household cleaners, medicine, personal care products, fertilizer, industrial chemicals, and more

The conference will feature traditional presentations and a poster session on the latest research, policies, and outreach in the soil, water, and air. In addition, there will be plenty of opportunities for discussion and networking with those interested in all aspects of emerging contaminants in the environment.

Researchers, educators, businesses, government officials, regulatory agencies, policymakers, outreach and extension professionals, environmental groups, members of the general public, and medical, veterinary, and public health professionals are encouraged to submit abstracts and attend the conference.
