This program, created in partnership with the ParkLands Foundation and the Illinois Extension Master Naturalists, has been designed to engage all ages in this nature adventure. While on the trails, identify spring wildflowers and learn how to use the iNaturalist app for ID and documentation of your finds. As you walk along the Mackinaw River, you can learn about the wildlife that calls it home and connect with nature using your five senses by participating in a scavenger hunt. Finish up with some snacks while chatting with new friends.
ParkLands Foundation Fee: $5/group, up to 10 people.
Rain date: Sunday, April 13, 1-3 p.m.
