Ingredients
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 Tablespoons water, more if needed
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
Directions
- Add tahini, garlic, water, oil, cumin, salt and lemon juice to a food processor.
- Process until smooth.
- Add chickpeas.
- Process until smooth, scraping down sides of the bowl as needed.
- If hummus is too thick, add another tablespoon of water.
- Serve immediately or store in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
