Whole Wheat Flaxseed Pizza Dough

Ingredients
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package active dry yeast (2 ¼ teaspoons)
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
Directions
  1. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups wheat flour, ground flaxseed, undissolved yeast, and salt.
  2. Stir honey into warm water and add to flour mixture. Stir until combined.
  3. If needed, add more flour to make soft dough.
  4. Knead on a lightly floured surface about 4 to 6 minutes.
  5. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
  6. Lightly oil a 14-inch pizza pan.
  7. Roll dough to cover pizza pan and bake in a preheated oven of 400°F for 10 minutes.
  8. Add toppings and continue baking an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
