Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup ground flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 package active dry yeast (2 ¼ teaspoons)
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 Tablespoon honey
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine 2 cups wheat flour, ground flaxseed, undissolved yeast, and salt.
- Stir honey into warm water and add to flour mixture. Stir until combined.
- If needed, add more flour to make soft dough.
- Knead on a lightly floured surface about 4 to 6 minutes.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Lightly oil a 14-inch pizza pan.
- Roll dough to cover pizza pan and bake in a preheated oven of 400°F for 10 minutes.
- Add toppings and continue baking an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
