URBANA, Ill. — While technology has revolutionized access to health information, the proliferation of inaccurate and potentially dangerous content online presents a significant public health challenge. It is essential to develop collaborative models that bring together researchers, educators, and community stakeholders to navigate this complex landscape. These models will ensure that citizens receive accurate, research-based health information.

The University of Illinois, along with the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute, and in collaboration with Illinois Extension, has developed the Springtime Science 2025 webinar series. This series is part of the Community Seminar Series, and it provides an opportunity for the community to learn about current health research, find reliable sources of health information, and engage in direct dialogue with U of I researchers.

"The passion and dedication of our presenters continually inspires me. Witnessing our speakers share their expertise on topics that have a real, tangible impact on the well-being of our community is truly incredible," says Max Wallace, visiting research project coordinator at IHSI. "This program is a testament to the power of collaboration and knowledge-sharing in driving meaningful change."
