Exploring New Frontiers: Uniting 4-H and Space as We Explore the Phenomena of a Solar Eclipse

Solar Eclipse

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Are you prepared for the upcoming total solar eclipse? Solar eclipses are an amazing time to learn more about the sun, moon, earth, and the paths they take as they orbit around each other. Join us at Clovers in Space: Solar Eclipse Edition where you’ll get to participate in fun space activities, crafts, and explore the solar system through a pop-up planetarium called Star Lab!

This is a tri-county experience, open to all youth ages 5-18 from Livingston, McLean, and Woodford counties. Make plans to attend on Wednesday, March 27 at the Interstate Center in Bloomington. Participants may choose to attend one of three available timeslots. There is a $2 fee per youth attending.

Space is limited. Register here: go.illinois.edu/CloversInSpace

If you will need an accommodation in order to participate, please email hkh5@illinois.edu. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time to meet your access needs.
