Mindfulness: Make Your Own Mindfulness Kit for Reducing Stress workshop

Mindfulness

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Are you going through life on autopilot and feeling stressed out? All of us have challenges in our daily lives, but there are some strategies and activities that you can do to help live in the moment and experience a reduction of stress.

The University of Illinois Extension will host a workshop “Make Your Own Mindfulness Kit” at 1:00 p.m. on March 21 at the Illinois Prairie District Public Library – Germantown Hills Branch. Participants of this lesson will learn what mindfulness is and how mindfulness practices can help in everyday life. They will also gain experience utilizing hands-on mindfulness techniques and build their own mindfulness kits to take home.

Sara Attig, University of Illinois Extension family life educator, will conduct this workshop free of charge, but advance registration is requested. To register, contact the Illinois Prairie District Public Library – Germantown Hills Branch at 309-921-5076.
