Jenna Braasch is a passionate communicator with a broad public relations and promotions skill set. She engages audiences through creative content and the inspiration to continue learning. Jenna works to share factual and trustworthy information and opportunities with communities to positively impact the daily choices people make. She strives to reach people through various channels, including strong media relations, content support and logistics, public relations, writing, and more. As a media communications coordinator with Illinois Extension, she uses those tools and strong attention to detail to support areas of ag business, AgrAbility, commercial ag, horticulture, local food systems and small farms, Master Gardeners, specialty crops, PSEP, the Plant Clinic, and agricultural research centers.

Jenna joined Extension in 2016 as a Publicity and Promotions Specialist serving Livingston, McLean, and Woodford counties until moving to the state office media coordinator position in 2023. In her time at the field office, Jenna worked to strengthen the Extension brand through cross-disciplinary program promotion and to meet multiple community needs through one Extension opportunity. In her prior role, she strengthened connections and understanding and also fueled a continuing belief that marketing and promotion efforts make everything possible.

In her free time, Jenna loves spending time with her pets and family on their farm.
