Ashley Hoffman

Ashley Hoffman is a 4-H Youth Development Educator serving Bond, Clinton, Jefferson, Marion and Washington counties, bringing over nine years of experience in community-based education and youth and adult programming. She is passionate about helping young people build confidence, leadership, and life skills through hands-on learning experiences and supportive environments that foster a sense of belonging.

Prior to her role in 4-H, Ashley served as a SNAP-Ed Regional Specialist and SNAP-Ed Unit Educator, where she provided leadership, training, and program support across southern Illinois. Her work included mentoring educators, guiding strategic planning and evaluation efforts, and collaborating with schools and community partners to deliver evidence-based nutrition and food access programs that addressed local needs.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master of Science degree in Food and Nutrition from Southern Illinois University. A former 4-H member herself, she remains deeply committed to Extension’s mission and to giving back to the program that helped shape her own leadership and relationship building skills. She is actively involved in her community through volunteer service and youth-focused initiatives.
