Fit & Strong! combines customized flexibility, low-impact aerobic exercises, and targeted strength training, all designed to alleviate joint pain, enhance mobility, and boost your self-confidence. Our program goes beyond physical exercises. With self-management techniques and engaging group discussions, you'll be equipped with the tools to maintain positive changes in your lifestyle.
- This is a 12-week program (24 class sessions) running from September 7-December 5, 2023.
- It will take place at the Moline Activity Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-10:30am.

In July 2022, University of Illinois Chicago received $750K (ARPA funds) from the Illinois Department of Public Health to disseminate Fit & Strong! throughout Illinois. For our unit, this program is coordinated by Kristin Bogdonas, nutrition and wellness educator in partnership with Augustana College.
