Are you ready to take the next step in your gardening journey?

The Livingston, McLean, and Woodford Master Gardeners are currently accepting applications for their Fall 2023 Training. Join your local Master Gardener program to expand your gardening knowledge and serve your local community. 

Hybrid training in Fall 2023.

Online materials will be provided along with in-person gatherings to work through the course materials.

In-Person Component:

Tuesdays, September 12 - December 5, 9 AM - NOON, McLean County Extension Office
In-person classes offer instruction from State Horticulture Educators while participating in hands-on activities.

Online Component:

Weekly modules completed independently online. Modules include videos, readings, quizzes, and an exam. These are completed ahead of the Tuesday in-person classes.

Application materials are available when you register for training.

Once registered, Kayla Green, Illinois Extension Volunteer Program Coordinator, will contact applicants to complete background screening and an interview. Once accepted to the Master Gardener training, payment of $250 to cover course materials and training is due. Fee waivers are available upon request.
