Hearing loss can impact our ability to communicate with others and lead to frustration, loneliness, and social isolation. Many causes of hearing loss can be prevented – and through proper diagnosis and treatment options, people with existing hearing loss can prevent additional loss and make the most of the hearing they have.
Discover ways to protect your hearing and learn about the latest hearing technologies from audiology experts at the College of Applied Health Sciences at University of Illinois. Sign up for a free, 10-minute hearing screening between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. following the educational session. Registration is required to attend the workshop or to schedule a screening.
On-site Screenings
- Time slots are available between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Screenings take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
- Participation in the workshop is not required to schedule a screening.

About the Audiology and Speech Language Pathology Clinic
Explore full-range diagnostic and therapeutic services for children and adults of all ages. Care is provided by graduate student clinicians under the supervision and expertise of licensed and nationally certified speech and hearing professionals. The clinic is operated by the Speech and Hearing Department in the College of Applied Health Sciences at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Full Hearing Assessments
- Full assessments and hearing aid evaluations are held in person at the Speech and Hearing Clinic at 2001 S. Oak St. Suite B, Champaign, Illinois.
- Initial visit must be in person; subsequent fitting and follow-up visits can be completed remotely.
- Hearing aids can be fitted remotely if needed.
- All hearing aid follow-up services can be provided remotely through the TeleAudiology Program.

- Do you hear better in one ear than the other when you are on the phone?
