Older adults face a higher risk of falls, which can lead to serious injury. Many studies show that Tai Chi is one of the most effective approaches for fall prevention. Medical authorities agree that exercise for people with arthritis should build strength, flexibility, and overall fitness—all core components of this program.
Illinois Extension is excited to offer a 16‑session, evidence‑based Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention series designed to improve balance, reduce pain, and support healthy aging.
