University of Illinois Extension is bringing you "Yes! You CAN: Canning Safely for Sale". Do you wish to sell your home-canned goods at the Farmer’s Market? Home canning can come with risks, but knowing the proper procedures will help make your product safe for sale. This program will give you an overview of the permissible canned products in the Cottage Food law, steps to ensure these products are safe for sale, hands-on canning experience, resources, and recipes. "Yes! You CAN: Canning Safely for Sale" is taught by Jenna Smith, University of Illinois Extension Nutrition & Wellness Educator and Registered Dietitian.  

This program will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Heartland Community College in the NRC (Normal Readiness Center), Room 1203/4.
