Nick Frillman is a Local Foods and Small Farms Educator serving Livingston, McLean & Woodford counties.
A fourth-generation graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Frillman attained a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science and Spanish in 2017 before pursuing a Master of Science degree in Crop Sciences with a focus in Crop Production in 2019. Before joining University of Illinois Extension, Frillman apprenticed on a diversified family vegetable farm in Sandy, Oregon, for the 2020 field season as a field hand. He is versed in specialty vegetable, small fruit, and tree fruit production systems of varying scales. Frillman is also a Certified Crop Advisor and assists with various field crop production questions in his tri-county Unit.
