Dr. Jon Henn is an Extension specialist based in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. He primarily studies grassland plant ecology with a special interest in how grassland plant communities respond to environmental change and management actions like prescribed fire. Henn's work aims to help guide grassland restoration and management so that we can be efficient and effective with our efforts to restore and conserve grassland systems across Illinois and beyond. To do this, Dr. Henn collaborates closely with public and private land managers, students, and other researchers.
