There is a new CSA in DeWitt County and its name is Triple M Farm. Greg and Mariah Anderson are the owners and have been in business since 2008. They started by raising fall mums and this year they have expanded to growing bedding plants, and fresh local produce.
Greg grew up on a farm that grew vegetables and strawberries, so raising vegetables are nothing new to this couple. Triple M Farm has its own high tunnels for producing bedding plants and for extending its growing seasons into the early spring and the late fall. There is no need to worry about a vegetable failure at this farm; they have irrigation for each row of plants to insure the best quality possible.
When comes to buying their produce, you have a couple of different ways that you can get their farm fresh vegetables. Triple M produce is available at the Antique Mall on the west side of Clinton on Tuesdays and Saturdays, or you can purchase a subscription to be part of their CSA.
By being a CSA subscription member, you are able to go to the farm and select the freshly picked vegetables that you want for your family. Triple M also has a home delivery option available for CSA members.
Greg told me that he loves what he is doing and his goal is to provide the best quality vegetables and bedding plants in the area. To find out more about Triple M Farms, you can visit their website or contact them at 217-898-0706.
