4-H Artificial Intelligence Workshop

Event Date(s)
Location
Zoom

Do you know any youth 6-12th grade interested in Artificial Intelligence?

During this Artificial Intelligence (AI) virtual workshop, youth will:

  • Investigate intelligent algorithm's data, models, and output in familiar contexts
  • Discuss algorithms' performances (error types) and the impact on people's daily lives
  • Explore and investigate the fairness of models, and examine some related legislations (Algorithmic Accountability Act)

How will we learn this? We will watch videos, do activities, and analyze scenarios! Join us along with Illinois State University Computer Science students for this fun virtual  event.

Please plan on attending all three virtual sessions on April 16, 23, and 30. There is no cost to experience this workshop series and Zoom links will be emailed at least one day prior to the session. Workshop is open to all youth 6-12th grade. For questions, please contact McLean County 4-H Educator Katie Buckley at kbuckley@illinois.edu or 309-663-8306.
