This will be followed up with ample time to practice pruning on the fruiting woody species at The Refuge Food Forest under guided supervision and hosted by Nick Frillman, Local Food Systems and Small Farms Educator.

For full engagement bring a hot beverage, water, warm attire (including warm shoes), and a readiness to learn something new.

*Pruning equipment will be provided but participants are welcome to bring their preferred pruning tool. For questions, contact staff at the McLean County Extension Office at 309-663-8306.
