Illinois AgrAbility | Spring Webinar Series
Know how to identify potential risks for injuries in agriculture roles.
Agricultural injuries continue to be a major factor on farms across Illinois. The webinar, hosted by Illinois AgrAbility, will share the research and trends surrounding agricultural injuries. The presentation will also identify and highlight programs available to farmers dealing with an injury or other farm-related stressors.
About the AgrAbility Spring Webinar Series
Farmers and farmworkers have always been the backbone of America. The state of Illinois includes 72,650 farms that cumulatively harvest over 27 million acres and are operated by 118,000 producers. The work involved is not only the farmer’s livelihood but rather their way of life. This educational series is geared toward agricultural producers, farm workers, Extension professionals, farm families, and those who work in agricultural businesses.
Each webinar series session will take place online from 12 to 1 p.m. on March 7 and April 4. Each month covers a different topic and will feature experts from Illinois Extension and partnering public health and agricultural organizations. The live webinars are free, but registration is required per session.
