Kayla Green joined the University of Illinois Extension team in the fall of 2021 as an Extension Program Coordinator of Agriculture and Natural Resources. She coordinates volunteer opportunities for the Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists of Livingston, McLean, and Woodford counties.

Kayla received her Bachelor of Science from Eureka College and is currently pursuing a Masters in Geographic Information Sciences from Eastern Illinois University. She graduated from Eureka College in 2020, where she majored in environmental studies and minored in political science. Throughout her time in college, she gained various opportunities to work with nonprofits on wildlife conservation. In these roles, she was able to work with volunteers who shared her passion for sustainability and increasing environmental awareness. Kayla’s favorite part about working with volunteers, is helping them grow and find new passions and goals in their volunteer experiences.
