University of Illinois Extension is providing a series of virtual field days from the Northwest Illinois Agricultural Research and Development Center near Monmouth.

MONMOUTH, Ill. – The fields of northwestern Illinois are coming to your computer. Farmers, consultants, and others in the agricultural community are invited to join the University of Illinois Extension Commercial Agriculture team for a four-part virtual field days series in August.

The annual fall field day updates for the Monmouth-based research farm for the Northwestern Illinois Agriculture Research and Demonstration Center is now available to a national audience. Illinois Extension educators and researchers will provide in-field interviews, an overview of their topic and preliminary data from current research.

All sessions start at 1 p.m. CDT. The virtual field days are free and accessible using any computer, tablet, or mobile device. The event will be hosted using Zoom, which is free to download. Register online at go.illinois.edu/ExtensionWebinars.

Participants can also sign up to receive 0.5 credits of Certified Crop Adviser continuing education units for each session.

If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in any of these programs, contact Harbach at harbach2@illinois.edu. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time for meeting your access needs.
