Creating a Master Volunteer Educational Presentation with University of Illinois Extension

Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists are encouraged to create educational presentations, PowerPoint programs, and fact sheets to share researched horticulture/ environmental information with audience through the events like Speakers Bureau, the Home, Lawn and Garden Day, and other educational opportunities. Most audiences connect when the volunteer shares their own observations and have a personal connection to the topic. Unit 12 Agriculture and Natural Resources staff are available to assist Master Volunteers regardless of experience.

Whether you are preparing for the upcoming year of events or just want to learn more about the process of developing presentations for continued education, please join us October 25th at 10 a.m. or October 26 at 4:30 p.m.  Patty Kahle and her educational committee will discuss.
