4-H members planning to show steers (or market heifers in Livingston County) in the county or state shows this summer must have their animals weighed and tattooed at a 4-H event. The Livingston County weigh-in and tattooing is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, starting at 6:30 a.m. and ending at 9 a.m., at the Livingston County 4-H Park in Pontiac.
In order to help the event go smoothly (and quickly, as it is typically a very cold day), members should sign up and provide information so that we can have paperwork ready to go.
Animals should be on a halter and sufficiently worked with to maintain a safe environment for all.
