The University of Illinois Pesticide Safety Education Program has released their upcoming clinic schedule. While locations span the state, the number of clinics are fewer than experienced previously. If you are interested in attending an in-person clinic, be sure to register early as seating is limited. Click the event heading below to see training times and the venue address. Check training times to ensure your chosen trainings are not scheduled to occur at the same time. These large capacity clinics offer a classroom setting using a fill-in-the-blank style workbook (provided). Each clinic offers training and testing. Trainings run 2.5-3.5 hours followed by testing. Both 1- and 2-day clinics are offered. Pricing is $45 for General Standards and $25 for each category (includes: Field Crops, Rights of Way, Mosquito, Turfgrass, and Ornamentals). Preregistration and prepayment are required and can be accomplished at the appropriate individual link below or at www.pesticidesafety.illinois.edu or by calling (800) 644-2123.
