Traveling across the state or around the world offers many opportunities for fun, and spending money! Join us in discussing ways to be a savvy traveler including how to manage your finances efficiently and safely while traveling.

How does our palate change through our lifecycle? Learn about the five senses, the process of aging, and the connection between smell and taste. What are some ways to enhance flavor using color and spices? What is behind the psychology of taste? 

Happy Hacks for More Positivity and Improved Well-Being | March 15 @ 2 PM & additionally on Aug. 18 @ 2 PM
Our lives are bombarded with negativity, stress, and countless threats to our emotional well-being, work, and closest relationships. New research in neuroscience and positive psychology shows that when we experience happiness and positivity, it turns on all the learning centers in the brain and fuels positive outcomes in all aspects of our lives. Participants of this program will learn about the common barriers to positivity and personal well-being and find out more
about simple science-backed principles and practices, or happy hacks, to boost both positivity and productivity as well as mood and attitude. 

Finding Your Get Up and Go | July 12 @ 2 PM & additionally on Nov. 10 @ 10 AM
Most people find that there are some days when it’s hard to find the motivation to accomplish what needs to be done, even those things that are important. Will Rogers once said, “Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.” Learning what accounts for the ebb and flow of levels of motivation in life and how to respond can help individuals be more productive. This session is for those times when it just seems hard to “get going” and will help you learn how to give your enthusiasm a boost. 

Mindfulness and Money | April 21 @ 2 PM & additionally on Oct. 11 @ 10 AM
Mindfulness can play an important role in our everyday decision-making. It centers on focused attention, remaining open, and practicing acceptance. In this lesson, we will discuss the relationship between mindfulness and money behaviors. We also will explore practical strategies that can help build positive money habits that have long-term benefits for your health and wellness.
