Under the light of a Hunter's Moon, illuminate your mind on the topic of native nocturnal creatures.

Bats, owls, skunks, raccoons, and opossums rise in the resting hours after twilight. Learn what makes Fugate Wood their home during this evening event. Enjoy an educational talk, then fill-up on s'mores and hot dogs!

Dress for the weather

To stay comfortable throughout the evening event: dress in layers, bring a flashlight, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring bug repellant. You are welcome to bring along a warm beverage like hot cocoa or coffee.

Directions

Park in the gravel parking lot. Follow the left path from the parking lot. This path will take you to the Gathering Grove Shelter.
