- Southern Illinois Summer Twilight Series | Save the dates! Extension educators team up with diverse farming operations across southern Illinois to highlight their successful production and marketing of local foods. These on-farm meetings are held the third Monday of each month from May through August, starting at 6 p.m. Save the dates and look for registration information in the next issue or contact Bronwyn Aly for more information.

- Legal Training for Illinois Small Farms Webinar Series| Save the dates! Extension is partnering with Farm Commons legal educators to host four live webinars specifically geared to Illinois farmers. Each webinar runs from 6 to 7 p.m. with 45 minutes for the presentation and 15 minutes reserved for question-and-answers led by Extension and Farm Commons staff. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required for all events.

Retirement reception for Elizabeth Wahle
After 24 years with Illinois Extension, Elizabeth Wahle will be retiring effective May 1. A reception is being held in her honor and she would be thrilled to have you join in the celebration! The reception is being held Thursday, April 16 at the Madison County Farm Bureau Auditorium (900 Hillsboro Ave., Edwardsville, IL).
