C. Eliana Brown is a water quality and stormwater specialist with Illinois Extension and Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant. She provides programming about water issues, including stormwater management and flood risk reduction. She leads the development of water outreach materials, including the Stormwater@Home video series, serves as the Director of the Red Oak Rain Garden, coordinates the Rainscaping Education Program and Illinois-Indiana Master Watershed Program for Illinois, and chairs the Urban Stormwater Working Group for the Illinois Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy.
Eliana holds a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, with a focus on water quality and treatment, from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is certified through the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program and is an Illinois Master Gardener.
